Ate some fruit down here so i had a comment today on youtube of someone asking me why am i not flashing from taking niacin as a supplement which is also known as a vitamin b3 and i’ve been wanting to address this for a while because i’ve been asked this a lot in the past by other people as well so yeah i’ll get on to answering that now to clear up any confusion
For people as to why it’s happening but first i’m going to move my feet off onto this wet sand because it’s burning my feet on that hot sand um so yeah the first reason can be is you’re actually taking a type of niacin that is a flush free niacin so make sure that if you want to flush from it yours says nicotinic acid if it doesn’t say that it’s not a flushing
Type of niacin so yeah if it doesn’t say that then definitely get yourself some of that and i’ll put some links down below from some different dosages of niacin from different companies for some people that want the higher dose and the lower dose there will be two different products here for you to choose from on amazon so you can check them out if you want the
Second reason can be is that you are not taking enough so if you’re someone that is very deficient in this or you have what is known as a niacin dependency which means you need a lot more than someone that doesn’t have a dependency then yeah you may not be taking enough so what i say some people will flush from about 25 milligrams some people won’t flush from
500 milligrams so yeah you need to find the perfect sweet spot should i say for you to get it to work for you so for me when i used to have a serious uh deficiency with this i needed around 500 milligrams to get a flush but now when i haven’t taken it for a while i only need about 100 milligrams and then when i stop flashing i need to increase it by about 50
Milligrams so 100 milligrams per dose so that gives you a rough idea for me and what i need but they may not be the same for you because we’re all different due to many different factors and variables and another factor i found is basically you may not have enough choline within the body so for people that do not have enough choline i’ve found that they don’t
Get a flushing effect so say i’ve been taking niacin quite a lot for quite some time and i’m not getting any flush even when i dramatically increase it what i need to do is take some days off for my coding levels to build back up and then i find i can come back to take a lower dose and i get a flush effect so yeah if you’ve been taking quite a bit on a regular
Basis take some days off anywhere up to a week then come back to it and try a low dose and see if it then works for you so yeah they’re the three main things i’ve found why people may not be flashing so correct them and you should start to get a flashing effect if you don’t for some reason when you’re doing them just let me know down below and i can give you
