Dr. Purser shares his insights on the best thyroid medications. Discover how chemically made, bioidentical synthetic medications such as L-Thyroxine or Synthroid (T4) safely mimic natural substances. Learn how pituitary function is related to TSH, and how damaged pituitaries cannot produce TSH.
Hi this is dr. dan purser of dan parser and be calm thank you for watching my youtube channel where we try to combine natural medicine with modern medicine unite them to make some sense of it all let’s talk today about thyroid medications i get all kinds of questions about patients that don’t want to take synthetic thyroid medications that’s ill thyroxine or
Sintra they’re talking about you know what it’s fine it’s completely identical yes this gimmickry made all that but it’s still completely identical your body cannot tell the difference so it’s essentially bioidentical but it’s not from natural substances but i don’t think that really matters if you’re gonna take their medication to your thyroid you’ve makin your
Body’s the tea for you make in your body so all the rocks and our centroid is p4 probably my favorite thyroid to prescribe would be nature toys it comes in grains which are 65 milligrams my patients go from from one to two to even three grains a day and if you have pituitary dysfunction it’s not gonna change your tsh it’s already at 0.1 or suppressed because
You don’t make it i know a lot of doctors get confused by that and think i’m giving too much thyroid when in reality you don’t aren’t producing the tsh anyway you can’t produce this age because you have a damaged pituitary like i do you know the best day ever you might make zero point one you know nanograms of tsh in a day to stimulate your thyroid which is not
Enough so i don’t usually track tsh is in my pituitary dysfunction phases there’s no point in it and doctors get confused by that what i really like to follow 3 to 3 and 3 to 4 i also will use are more thyroid by the way or generic our thyroid which works really well too i also occasionally will use i oath irony and you can get compounded lieth irony that’s
T3 by the way competent ly o thyromine or compounded t4 at a pharmacy – there’s your options i use them all i use them all kind of interchangeably some patients prefer one form over another it’s according to the situation if you’re older and don’t convert t4 to t3 properly which can happen if you have a five-prime do deniz enzyme deficiency or a problem there
Or five-prime vionnet’s resistance which can’t occur due to vitamin deficiencies or old age or it’s just quit working correctly and you’ll need to combine t4 t3 that you find in nature troy door arm or thyroid i hope this helps a little i like them all there’s situation you need to use each one in regardless this is dr. dan purser thanks for watching god bless
