Here’s a song I wrote during a particularly depressed period following the end of my last relationship. I was having a hard time getting much of anything done, or even just getting out of bed, and it sure helped that I had some generic dextroamphetamine salts laying around (orange and blue in color depending on dosage). I sure don’t recommend ’em for long term use, but sometimes it’s exactly what you need to get that active momentum going and get out of a funk. Or as Ray Wylie says “get out of your rut and into a groove”. #country #western #americana #folk #singersongwriter #songwriter #songwriters #songwriting #music #guitar #outlawcountry #raywyliehubbard
