And hypo thyroid i am a candidate that needs to have surgery done and after speaking with my surgeon it’s gonna happen in like the second week of october of 2018 so in the meanwhile if you’re like me and either you have like a hyper thyroid or maybe you just have like a big order whatever the case may be your doctor might prescribe you medication so that way your
Thyroid can of like maybe gets a little smaller it’s just a little bit easier to have them cut and make the you know the incisions and it’s not super like a hard oregon and they want to make sure your levels are perfect so that way they can give you surgery no problem so i was prescribed methimazole which is it’s to basically make me not hyper thyroid fine oh my
Gosh you guys the struggle has been real on it i would say the first after about a couple days of taking it i felt just the classic symptoms i think of hyperthyroidism hypothyroidism i was tired i felt like just crying i you know the heart palpitation thing and so much more just there was just a lot and i just as a person i just felt like thing was going in slow
Motion okay slow so so and i guess it’s because like my body has been running on hot for a very long time and then when you decide well then all of a sudden i’m telling my body to slow down it’s like it crashes it’s terrible so anyways some of the symptoms i’ve had from etham methimazole is itching this kinda heartburn and my heart palpitations have forgotten
A lot worse okay it turns out after me doing some research the reason why i’m experiencing such bitching i mean you guys i’ve never been one to have like dandruff i’ve never been one to have like an itchy scalp but that is real very real i scratched my head so much that i have like little bumps over my head and i’m sure it’s because you know i’m using my dirty
Fingernails like really scratched the out of my head and my husband was just a grubby man hair and he’s like oh my gosh you have like so many bumps i’m like yeah it’s because i told you i was like really itchy i even went to the store yesterday and bought head in shoulders because i thought maybe that would help i’ve used hair masks i made my own with coconut
Oil i’ve used tea tree oil but when it’s like a chemically like a chemical imbalance in you it’s very hard to get any kind of relief and so i ended up taking two benadryl last night and just passing out but what i did find out earlier this week is my doctor went a little crazy with prescribing the methimazole eye and totally shocked my system the prescribed me

What i found with research is that if you are being overprescribed a medication such as methyl myzel your body is telling you that it’s getting too much and you have to listen to yourself so by getting like i was getting heartburn i was getting like a lot of like heart palpitations and really itchy itchy skin i should have known right away that this medication
Maybe wasn’t working out and basically what the doctor confirmed was i was on too high of a dose so i’m hoping now this is day two of me being on the new dosage which is like half a tablet twice a day i’m hoping that it kind of mellows out and i can’t go back to feeling normal so that’s what i wanted to share if you are going through something that is a hormone
Related and you’re putting either more hormones in or you’re getting rid of some hormones and you’re starting to experience like symptoms it is really important to let your doctor know so that way you can either go back in get another test or they can like reassure you that it’s related or not and then if your doctor like mine doesn’t seem to be super proactive as
Far as like being able to tell me like about diet and nutrition and other things that i think would be beneficial to know as a person with a thyroid problem you have to be responsible and do your own research don’t just like read one article like hey i feel sleepy all the time is this have to do with my thyroid because literally people use the thyroid as an excuse
For everything i found out like oh the mail didn’t come today it must have been my thyroid like i’m serious just you have to do your research be diligent about it don’t just take one article from wikipedia to be the end i’ll be all like you know go down the rabbit hole spend 30 minutes and figure out if this is something that really does pertain to your illness
