Be here and to be able to talk to everyone i would just like to go through the survival kit and give you a medical opinion again this is my opinion it’s not any particular advice but to give you an idea about the value that’s being provided on the jace medical kit we went through this by drugs and also by a number of different variables and scored it based on some
Things that are important to keep it standardized and one of the things that chris had asked me about were the different drugs that are in the kit we basically went through this and went through the cost per drug it’s a very nice put together kit and it has a good selection of antibiotics and drugs that you would need in a survival situation so what i want to do is
Go through those fairly quickly and then chris and i will touch on some of the pluses and some of the slight drawbacks of the kits that we’re going to talk about for jace medical some of the things that are offered is um the different drugs amoxicillin clavulanate it’s known as augmentin as a trade name it’s a good penicillin antibiotic and the nice thing about
Jace is they’ve got a nice little handbook that they give you that’s an antibiotic guide and they do this by contents by drug and then by disease process so for a lay person it’s very easy to look at it’s got large print and it’s written in a very easy to understand format you don’t have to have a medical degree to figure out which drug you’re going to take for
What problem you don’t have to necessarily have a particular diagnosis with some sort of medical testing first so it’s well laid out um one of the other drugs that they have in there is doxycycline which is basically a tetracycline it’s a fairly inexpensive drug that’s used for a variety of problems that can be used for utis and some other things and i think it’s
A good inexpensive easy to use drug with minimal side effects the next is ciprofloxacin which is used for some parasitic diseases it’s also used for a lot of infections and it’s a different drug class than the amoxicillin so it’s got some other uses that are that’s not covered by the amoxicillin the next drug that’s important is metronidazole and it’s basically an
Anti-parasitic drug it’s also used for anaerobic infections so some tooth infections some things where if you get a deep infection in the tissues would be important like if you’re out in the field and you have a problem and you’re days away from medical care this could be a lifesaver finally there’s a medicine called azithromycin or zithromax and that’s used for
Things like pneumonia and it covers bacteria that are called gram negatives and those are things that are usually in your intestinal track but if you get contaminated by something like animal feces or something like that in an open cut it would be helpful for those sorts of things once again i think the important part here is it’s put together pretty well and it
Has a nice explanation in the booklet so that you can tell what to use chris comments yeah actually if we go back right to the beginning we put together a criteria to evaluate this product as well as other products and so that our scores are standard you know out of a 10 you know eight out of 10 9 out of 10 that sort of thing so the first thing with jace was the
Shipping time it was very fast and we gave it five out of five points the packaging from sturdiness appearance ease of opening perspective we only scored it a two out of five this is a soft package and mike if you hold up the z pack you all can see that the z pack got crushed it’s still usable but it could potentially have been damaged the point that it wasn’t
Usable so we scored the jace kit a little bit down on the packaging side of things from a website accuracy perspective very accurate their documentations exceptionally well done the book the website everything that they have is good in that regard the product appearance and aesthetics so this is kind of subjective um felt this green isn’t you know necessarily
The nicest color but again that’s strictly you know a subjective opinion so we still gave it a seven out of 10 there on the instruction side though that’s where mike feels that they really hit a home run uh you know basically what mike said to me is he say hey look at this you can go through by each antibiotic and match it up to a condition that you have or you
Can go through a list of conditions and matched up to the antibiotics so from a layman’s perspective really easy to understand what to take so i definitely feel that’s a major plus for this product instructions very easy to understand overall quality and value so mike scored it an 8 out of ten we you know rough numbers there’s approximately 150 dollars in meds
And then the additional that you pay 259.95 total covers packaging and the doctor consult so it’s a pretty good value i agree i mean if you have to go to urgent care you’re going to spend about eight hundred dollars after you get done so yeah it’s it’s a great value in that regard that’s great um i dealt with jace as far as going through the whole process of
Filling out a questionnaire for their doctor um corresponding back and forth it’s not a long process it was complete and maybe 24 hours feel that their customers customer support pardon me was really good we gave that 15 out of 15. and from this point forward on all reviews done by survival dispatch we’re looking at american-made products scoring 15 out of 15
Possible points if a product’s made by one of our allies say a nato ally they get 7 out of 15 and if it’s not america made not a nato partner who’s made the product then they get zero out of 15. so we’re showing extreme prejudice towards american-made products do you have more comments on this mike that you’d like to share um i think one of the other things in
This and i think the reason jace kept this to uh basically essential antibiotics are some individuals may require an epipen if they have an allergy to something in looking at the cost of an epipen though it would drive this thing up by at least a hundred dollars to 150 dollars um so if someone has an allergy obviously they may carry their own but if you suddenly
Develop an allergy over time you know you’d have some insect sensitivity and you get into some bees and you get a bunch of stings it’s a life-saving thing again the cost would um increase this by at least a third the other thing that um chris and i were talking about was um ivermectin it’s an antiparasitic and so um leaving covet aside this could be used for other
Things like problems that you get in a contaminated water for example and i know all of you out there use your life straws and all of your other water filtering devices but on occasion if you forget or somebody hands you something and you drink it without making sure that it’s safe you may need that medication and so that’s another consideration and that drug is
Is very inexpensive and so that would be something good to add to the kit for jace to consider or for you if you’re adding your own supplements to the kit yourself uh yeah that’s great information like i think one more thing that i would add to this just from a sales perspective there’s only one product available from jace at the 259.95 uh myself i would prefer
To go with say three levels a good better best and then you could incorporate some of mike’s ideas and the people who want to spend a little bit more money to have broader coverage that option is available to them but overall this is a really good product really good support okay mike so all in all uh we scored this product 8.9 out of 10. yes pretty good value
