Hey, this is what Jaxson is on for medication right now for treatment for his cystic fibrosis. He gets:
Hey youtube i just posted a review about this new google bought a body pillow i also have a review about the loving comfort belly band so those are both my pregnancy reviews if you want to check those out this video is just going to be quick about what jackson’s on from medication so he has cystic fibrosis so if you’ve seen any of my videos that’s what our topic is
Is jackson cystic fibrosis and stuff so he is on creon which is a little pale about yay big let me get one out here so i can show you this big so when up to my hand it’s a little white pill and there are 3000 like my pace units li pa se pull it up here so you guys can see it a little better if it would focus come on lighting in here sucks today it’s been raining
And crappy up hearing me um and so it’s got 3,000 units in one pill originally when he was discharged from the hospital he was on 1500 like lipase units which is half a pill so what we were doing was taking one of these med cups here which you can get at any drugstore or anything like that the hospital supplied us with this and he come home from the hospital so
And then what we were doing was opening it and then pouring it you can see the units in there pouring it into the cup to section it in half because he can’t he’s a baby he’s two months two and a half months old so he can’t swallow a pill and right now there’s no nothing out there for pancreatic enzymes which that’s what this is um it’s two for babies so there’s
No liquid form of this stuff available yet so more research more funding for research will eventually create medication for babies so jackson is about six seven percent of the popular so baby kids usually aren’t diagnosed this young so there’s really not much out there for them so this is what our processes right now i’ve given giving him his meds so these lipase
Units you see oh my thumb there there’s little pebbles and what we’re doing he’s now on a pill and a half a day so three what are they 3,000 lipase units 3,000 so half is 15 so he’s 4,500 lipase units per feet so he’s eating about seven times a day at six ounces so yeah that’s what he’s getting for pancreatic enzymes and we were ministering it to him by just taking
A spoon a baby spoon a food spoon with a little bit apple sauce on it now sprinkling this kind of like sprinkles on an ice cream on top of that applesauce feeding it to him prior to him taking his bottle making sure it’s completely out of his mouth because if these little nubbies nods what if you will call them are left in the milk they will create stores so that’s
His medication he gets every feed even if he’s only taking two ounces needs a snack anything like that his next medication is called aqueducts however you want to pronounce it it’s a qu a de ke s this is the packaging it comes in just the box like this it’s a multi viner but multivitamin and mineral supplement pediatric liquid we did have a prescription for this
But it’s technically an over-the-counter so we had some issues with insurance bah bah bah um so he takes a half a mil twice a day i actually administer it to him in one bottle so it is bright orange and i tell you what it will stain anything that this gets on so that’s it right there what i do is you know shake this up and take one ml which is to this top line put
It in the milk mix it up makes it for a bright orange milk in their ways and this i know there’s vitamins in it is vitamin a vitamin c vitamin d3 vitamin e simon rib 11 niken vitamin b6 biotin something acid and zinc and vitamin e vitamin k1 yeah a bunch of different vitamins they’re all listed here on the back how this is not focusing for crap today and there’s
Different amounts listed so he’s on that once a day i usually give him that in a bottle mix it up with six ounces and he is also on rann adine which is basically yeah randy is santa in liquid form so he gets point five liquid form of zantac right adine three times a day so i administer it to him about eight o’clock in the morning two o’clock in the afternoon and
Then a clock again at night so it’s six hours except for that last the overnight one he is kind of sleeping through the night he’s going from about eight nine o’clock at night till about four five three four five in the morning roughly somewhere around there so yeah that’s his medication list we are boosting his formula he’s no longer breastfeeding i just stopped
Producing i’m not producing anything really um and i really want to know what he’s getting so i’d have to pump measure all that stuff so he’s getting fortified formula now so normally it is a scoop per 2 ounces so he’s getting roughly six ounces is what he takes normally for regular bottle so we’re doing three scoops and three-fourths of a school so it for eight
Ounces it’s five scoops we’re normally it should be four so yeah we’re just boosting it a little bit should bring it up to about 25 calories per dosage however you want to say it instead of 20 so for boosting his calories plus his hitting the vitamins plus he’s getting the kree on which will get his pancreas to work and then he’s on the ring beam to help with his
Acid reflux because this causes acid reflux so fun fun he’s doing pretty good originally we had issues with the ranting just because it tastes awful tastes like peppermint he doesn’t like it he takes it out sauce in the crayon really well he has since they started give it to him in the hospital so yeah that’s that’s it for now and it it was up to today actually
21 and a half capsules of the crayon he went from a half a cap to a full cap now to a cap and a half i’m just because in his diaper were showing some malnutrition so i yeah he skin that’s about it i think for medication whys and i will update as he gets bigger in what we end up going to and switching to so thanks for watching don’t forget to check out my other

Behind in the weight gain but we’re getting there so thanks for watching guys have a good day
