Enzymes and probiotics absolutely go hand-in-hand got to have the enzymes to break it down the probiotics to absorb so how do we get our foods working down for this maximum absorption by the probiotics that’s a good question because cooked foods and processed foods basically render enzymes inactive and enzymes are the basically way that our body breaks down
Proteins carbs fats sugars fibers even things like lactose but we’re not getting lactase in milk because it’s pasteurized and stuff so yeah we yeah don’t get enough enzymes that’s the next thing yeah so he’s specifically referring to digestive enzymes yeah those for our body has digestive enzymes but let’s just talk about the three ways that we can get in as
Iams okay so you touched on the foods a little bit right our raw foods raw fruit raw vegetables ronna sushi perhaps you know lots of different schools of thought on cleanness of that okay so make your own determination on that but raw foods like he said are filled with all the enzymes necessary to break down so that the nutrients in them can be available for
Absorption mm-hmm so that’s the first way right so the more raw the better i tell people at 51 plus percent of your plate is raw you’ve got enough enzymes to help break down the cooked and my clans rd said cook foods enzymes are now killed right that food can’t break down on its own so then the body hafsa send over digestive enzymes from the pancreas that’s our
Enzyme digestive enzyme our body has lots of enzymes so we’re talking specifically about digestive enzymes here our pancreas has to then send over enzymes to help break all these cooked process preserved chemicals etc down unfortunately our body was not designed to be putting all that type of stuff in so that enzyme storage tank called our pancreas is just that
A storage tank and once we start developing food intolerances sensitivities these types of things we’re likely running out of that type of enzyme to be able to break it down okay so the third way we can get enzymes is through enzyme supplementation and i of course only use plant based enzymes believe me i am on a health journey just like the rest of you right i
Have been on many supplements over the years i took everything my chiropractor you know told me to take including enzymes i was taking ox bile from dead animals pancreas pancreatic enzymes and they just never sorry yes they do exist so yeah look at your enzyme bottle right make sure it’s not from ox bile bovine pancreatic enzymes because honestly for me they just
Never did the trick now i used them for 10 plus years right it helped a little bit but once i start switch the plant base i was literally like a different person within days i’m talking you know things working right my foods getting broken down so i was less sluggish less tired oh do these some familiar to any of you guys right that’s common you know complaints
Of people right so anyway those are the three ways to get your enzymes do it take your probiotics along with it so you’ll get maximum absorption on the nutrients right and even if you’re eating garbage although i tell people taking a plant-based enzyme supplement when you’re eating this garbage doesn’t give you carte blanche to do it but make sure you are so it
Can get broken down any nutrients that are available can be absorbed and the rest can head downstream right oh remember last time you made the lil faux pas and called graham crackers graham crackers yes this is exactly what we were talking about and why okay right yeah yeah and and yeah graham characters are different you know there’s some organic gluten-free
Ones that like sometimes but anyways that’s beyond the point but they’re still cooked in process yes so we need enzymes no i’m not saying i don’t eat oh yeah so either we get the enzymes from our food our body or supplement and we don’t want our body to have to work overtime and most most times we’re eating cooked or you know sometimes a lot process well standard
American diet is like 63 or 65 percent process it’s mostly looks like 25% animal protein and in sight i know berries acai fans like pam 12% and what process we do yeah process i’m surprised it’s not more than that it makes up the vast majority and then processed foods is just like hamburger hot dog pizza french fries packaged foods on the grocery store shelves yeah
Usually like in the middle of the grocery store versus the perimeter has more like the fresh produce and other stuff but but yeah and the analogy that i think of with a gross to enzymes is it’s kind of like a watermelon and it’s really hard to eat a watermelon if you know especially a really large one like an organic i think an organic one the largest one is when
I seen was like from fully raw christina and it was literally like half her body it was crazy it was amazing but try to imagine eating that bite by bite it’s gonna be really difficult so it’s easier if you actually have a knife and you’re actually gonna cut it in half and fourths and sixteenths and into tiny little like triangles and then eat it bite by bite that
Way it’s a lot easier and that’s basically what an enzyme does is it breaks down your foods after it after you consume the food so that the little tiny bacteria that we mentioned earlier the good ones and you know to a certain degree the bad ones will always have bad ones but we just want the ratio typically like ten to one good to bad bacteria but it gives them a
Sizable piece of food to eat so that’s easier to break down because whatever food is not broken down by our body gets recycled typically in our bloodstream and and aback bacteria and other things eat that and you just don’t want undigested food particles floating around in your bloodstream that’s just not good we want it to basically go through our digestive tract
I don’t let our body get what it needs from a nutrient standpoint and then pass through yeah so yeah so as a reminder enzymes and probiotics absolutely go hand-in-hand got to have the enzymes to break it down the probiotics to absorb yeah there we go no mess it up yeah so if you have any more questions that’s right if you have more questions make sure to check out
