hope you guys enjoyed today’s video! I’m going to be doing a lot more vlog/general life videos in future too – as I really enjoy it 😌
Having a dream i was in france but it looked like italy and then there was weird like seats like we’re in the theater and this old man was trying to nick stuff off me and i got another guy to help me and then he naked it too and it was my black and white camera i still need to get the photos developed from so wake up who was really sad hello everybody welcome
Back to the channel if you’re new here my name is elena and i film videos all about 65 fibrosis and my life for cf and also just life in general i’m filming a day in the life also i have very much picked a day where i actually have quite a lot of things to do so it looks like i’m super busy and so productive when in actual fact if it was yesterday i would have
Been doing absolutely nothing but sleeping what’s up every morning i take two puffs of my foster inhaler for tablets i take the cali deco lansoprazole cirtuline and one iron tablet so the other thing that i always always always take and not just in the mornings but throughout the day is crayon or pancreatic enzymes as the scientific snazzy name for them
And then literally as they sound they are enzymes to replace the ones that don’t work in my pancreas so these are the tablets that digest my food so it will depend how much i’m eating what i’m eating what’s in what i’m eating and that will all determine how many of these i take four eggs on toast and two yogurts it will be about four for that and then about
Three for them so all together i’m taking seven crayon tablets this morning hello good sir how are you today oh good boy well done well done this is his party trick far in a row can we get five well done oh look you’re so pleased with yourself okay foreign really this video should just be called a lot of time lapses i feel like it’s all of this sort
Of stuff that people don’t think about like every week when you have an illness you have to make sure that you do your tablets and that you’re thinking about when you need which one i’m lucky that my pharmacy is very nice and usually prescribes me at least a month at a time of things so i’ve always got a well-stocked tablet straw but it’s all of that too which
Is so taxing on your life because for most people you always have a list to do of emails and shopping lists and bills for people with cf and with other chronic illnesses it’s how much of that drug have i got left when do i need to ring the pharmacy to make sure i have the next prescription delivered so i don’t run out it’s also really important to mention that
As i keep saying cf is so different for everybody so i’m not gonna speak too much about how it’s different and how it could differ for everybody in this video but just know that just because my cf affects me like this that doesn’t mean it’s going to affect everybody like this in terms of my own health i’m probably on the least amount of treatments i’ve ever
Been which is amazing in terms of tablets how long i have to do my physio for but in terms of the scale of how long i take on doing treatments in comparison to other people with cf i think it’s definitely on the shorter side but that doesn’t mean that doing all of these things isn’t really annoying and doesn’t make me feel crappy sometimes so yeah i always
Feel like i have to put the disclaimer out that like it is a lot worse for people with the earth but i’ve just got to stop thinking like that because this is what my cf is like for me and i’m not saying that it’s awful but it still kind of is if he helps yet it is awful but yeah i just never want anyone to think that i’m not grateful for the health that i do
Have and all the stuff that i can do about physiotherapy it’s physio in terms of getting mucus up from our chests that’s what we all do having cf i try to do mine twice a day but at the moment i’ve been a complete turnip and i’ve been doing it probably like once every few days it’s three injections and they have helped a lot in helping keep my lungs stable and
Really keeping that asthmatic side of things at bay but i’ve got to wait for half an hour before i have it because if you inject yourself straight after it’s come out of the fridge it really hurts so i’m gonna leave that for half an hour and do my nebulized dye nice nebulizers and nebulize medications it’s literally just liquid medication than being able to be
Breathed in via like steam so kind of like a vape basically it’s the same principle but obviously not a vape so in a perfect world i’d be doing um a pet mask and airway clearance right now but because i’ve got a really busy day i’m gonna do my solar and then go for a dog walk fish brush it is kind of crazy when you remember you’re not everyone actually has
To do this like not everyone just has to do medications every day and make up medications just to like keep themselves alive it’s a bit weird when they’re like i think about it it gets a little bit philosophical really i’ve been doing permits them for years and years and i still mess up taking the cap off one of them goes in the fridge for later this is my
Net which i have the pro-mixing through kinky next job is washing my life is really not that exciting um but you guys wanted a day in the life so my sweet child he needs a wash this is hector he really really does quite badly need to wash his horns or grubby putting him in a pillowcase wish him luck so we secured the goods uh i got my guitar fixed i got
The conditioner swapped it so that now i don’t have two of the same shampoo now there you go and do some uni work and then it’ll be time to do my physio again really not that exciting but just finished the washing my sweet baby was fine thank goodness i’m gonna do some uni work now i think then i’ll probably i don’t know whether to do joe wick’s workout i
Don’t know if i have the energy honestly help no idea um the absolute strangest things happened i actually understand what’s going on in this lecture discovering statistics makes my brain hurt i don’t get it so whenever there’s like a tiny bit that i understand i’m like oh me i get it it’s fizzy all the time um i’ve got another dynasty and then probably a
Salbutamol is what i do next which is basically a nebulized version of ventilant which some of you with asthma would have heard of but it basically just helps like open up your airways and then i’m actually gonna do some airway clearance because i didn’t do any of this morning don’t be like me doa clearance like i did this all already this morning and now i’ve
Got to do it all over again and then i’ll have to do it all again in the morning and you can understand why you just think i don’t want to do this even though you know it’s good for you i think this is what people forget about like people having cf or chronic illness like i’m knackered i want to go to bed but if i do go to bed and i haven’t done any proper
Physio i’m going to feel really guilty and i’ll probably feel pants in the morning because i have been a bit slack with that specifically at the moment when you are really ill or if you’re having a time when you’re struggling you can’t skip it even if you want to it kind of all of this like never stops and as i said earlier there is definitely a scale to how
Good or bad people’s um health is and it could be a lot worse for me but i still doesn’t mean that i’m any less tired and just want to you know lead somewhat of a normal life where i can never do treatments again that would be lovely the last tablets i’m having before i go to bed are my vitamins my calf trio and my iron tablet i’m also going to do my pet mask
In a minute we’re done absolutely bloody accurate but i hope you all enjoyed this video please like and subscribe if you did and yeah thanks so much for watching you
